About the job:
Within the "Operations" department, the locomotive mechanic/shunting agent is responsible for ensuring the transfer of empty and loaded wagons from the refinery to the Cornaux station, according to the daily transport plan.
They also perform all necessary shunting for sorting, tarage, weighing, placement, and train formation on the company's railway network.

Drive the locomotive and ensure the efficient transfer of wagons between the refinery and Cornaux station, guaranteeing smooth and secure logistics
Orchestrate the sorting of wagons on the internal yard, optimizing the organization of rail traffic on site
Prepare wagons precisely for the unloading of additives and intermediate products, ensuring strict application of RID rules for impeccable compliance
Vary the tasks by alternately taking on the responsibilities of shunting agent and locomotive mechanic, ensuring versatility and expertise in the field
Contribute to the diversity of operations by regularly covering the loading operator position, thus offering more flexibility to teams and promoting the development of varied skills
Be a key player in safety and quality, embodying and enforcing the highest standards in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment
Qualifications:
Federal VET diploma in a technical field
Holding the A40 locomotive license is an asset or willingness to undergo training to obtain the A40 license
Proven experience in professional use of computer tools
This position requires shift work, alternating - morning shift (05:20-13:35) - evening shift (13:25 to 21:40), Monday to Friday, as well as about 1 Saturday per month on the morning shift.
