As part of a position renewal within the tram maintenance service, we are offering two positions:

Railway Technician

Your mission

Reporting to the tram maintenance manager, you will need to establish reliable diagnostics of failures and execute, professionally, various maintenance, repair/revision, and vehicle testing tasks. These must be carried out in the best possible time frame, in order to provide internal and external clients with a quality of service that meets their needs, in compliance with rules, standards, and directives.

Your main responsibilities

• Based on the failure reports received and/or transmitted by the direct supervisor, conduct a thorough examination to identify the exact cause of the failure and estimate its severity as well as the necessary repair time,
• execute the various repair tasks to restore the vehicle to operational condition in the best possible time frame,
• according to the check-lists provided and/or specific actions requested, execute the various preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and specific actions.

Your profile

• Certificate of proficiency as a technician or equivalent qualification,
• 3 years of professional experience in automation, preferably in a railway or industrial company,
• driving license, forklift operator license, and ability to obtain an internal tramway license,
• very good knowledge in electrotechnics, automation, hydraulics, and pneumatics,
• knowledge in power electronics and mechanics in the railway field would be an asset,
• very good knowledge in PC diagnostics,
• very good ability to learn new tasks, curiosity, and adaptability.
