The Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES HSG) is the executive education unit of the University of St. Gallen, one of Europe's leading business schools. Your tasks
- Working at the heart of the Central Marketing team, you will you will translate strategic relationships into concrete initiatives, executive touchpoints and measurable business opportunities, ensuring that the Executive School is recognised globally as an influential hub for leadership, learning and collaboration. This includes:
- Develop and manage partnership roadmaps with key ecosystem partners such as HSG Alumni, the St.Gallen Symposium, the HSG Foundation and selected international platforms (e.g. Nordic Business Forum).
- Conceptualise and deliver high-calibre events and contributions (on campus and internationally) that engage senior decision-makers and target audience and position the Executive School as a trusted partner for leadership dialogue and executive learning.
- Act as the primary relationship owner for strategic ecosystem and corporate partners, ensuring professional governance, mutual value creation and a coherent “One Executive School” approach.
- Coordinate with programme directors, business development and content colleagues to integrate ecosystem initiatives into sales pipelines and lead generation.
- Support the achievement of B2B sales targets linked to partnership activities and events.
- Represent the Executive School professionally in international contexts, fostering visibility and trust with senior-level stakeholders.
- Ensure internal alignment and communication across departments to enable collaboration and consistency in external messaging and partner engagement.
- Maintain oversight of planning, budgeting and reporting related to ecosystem and event activities.
- Work confidently across digital tools, CRM systems and communication platforms to track progress, monitor engagement and maximise reach.
Your profile
- The ideal candidate combines strategic acumen, diplomatic strength and entrepreneurial drive with a collaborative, hands-on approach to execution. You are motivated by building relationships that lead to meaningful outcomes, both internally and externally. This includes:
- Several years of experience in international B2B relationship management, partnership development, executive events or business development in a knowledge-intensive setting (e.g. consulting, executive education, professional services, or associations).
- A proven record of engaging senior stakeholders - from corporate executives and board members to academic leaders - and translating relationships into tangible collaborations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in English and German, with confidence representing the Executive School in international and multicultural contexts.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and partners simultaneously.
- An integrative mindset, able to navigate complex stakeholder structures within the University while keeping a clear focus on joint impact.
- High integrity, maturity and resilience in balancing strategic intent with operational execution.
- Proficiency with digital and CRM tools to manage networks, track outcomes and measure effectiveness.
- A team-oriented, proactive and purpose-driven personality with a genuine interest in leadership, education and strategic development.
