Activities e Plan and organize the monitoring and execution of maintenance, development, and safety works for the municipal road network Supervise and support the road team Participate in fieldwork Assist the road manager in managing and coordinating the service's activities Help manage and organize the teams' work Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Contribute to administrative management (reports, quotes, budget, stock and equipment management) Control and validate employees' hours Replace the road manager in case of absence Monitor continuous training of employees Provide on-call service, snow removal Requirements e Federal VET diploma in civil engineering, road construction, or equivalent e Federal certificate as construction team leader or road construction foreman 4 to 7 years of prior professional experience in a similar role (Roads, construction sites, team management) Knowledge of municipal administration operations Holder of a category B driving license; category C and CE would be an asset Good mastery of road maintenance methods and standards Ability to read and interpret plans Skills in site management and budget monitoring Good knowledge of IT tools and ideally technical management software Being a volunteer firefighter is considered an asset Advantages e Varied work e Salary according to applicable regulations and social benefits of the Val-de-Travers municipality +41 32 886 43 20 | ressourceshumaines.vdt@ne.ch © REFERENCE N° 80'274 | PAGE 1/2 VAL-DE-TRAVERS.CH
