The Pouponnière and Abri Foundation aims to work for children and especially young children and their families, notably by welcoming them within its nine institutions: five child life centers (CVE), two emergency reception boarding schools, the mother-child educational reception (AEME), the meeting space service unit (UPER).

To complete our team at the mother-child educational reception (AEME), we are looking for a:

Tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure the protection and well-being of children aged 0 to 6 years, placed by the General Directorate of Childhood and Youth (DGEJ) or the professional guardianship and curatorship service (SCTP)
• Provide daily support in building the mother-child attachment bond and actively contribute to the development of parenting skills
• Observe and assess parenting skills and child safety
• Work in a network with various internal and external partners

Profile sought

• Degree as social educator, childhood educator, social worker, or other Bachelor or Master related to the field of activity
• Proven and recognized experience in the social field
• Knowledge of child development and observation
• Ability to work with families, in a team and network
• Good personal organization, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, adaptability and priority management
• Excellent listening skills and empathy
• Driver's license
• Clean criminal record
