Since 1967, Albula-Landwasser Power Plants AG (ALK) has been using the water power of the Albula and Landwasser rivers as well as their tributaries at the Filisur power plant. Since 1989, it has also been using the water power of the Albula at the Tiefencastel power plant.
ALK is organized as a partner company, in which the canton of Graubünden holds a 5% stake (ALK).
The government of the canton of Graubünden has the right to submit a nomination proposal to the ALK General Assembly for a seat on the company's Board of Directors (Cantonal Representation).
Requirements
As part of the nomination process, the canton of Graubünden is looking for a competent and farsighted individual who
- is familiar with the energy policy environment at the national and cantonal levels and is able to represent the interests of Graubünden's canton and municipalities,
- has experience in strategic processes and is able to contribute accordingly,
- thinks entrepreneurially and has an understanding of the energy industry,
- has a connection to the canton or the region.
