Job Description
  • Acts as the Integrator of the assigned portion of the Plant by ensuring the best possible interaction between the various disciplines (e.g. Equipment layout, piping, steel structures, plant foundations, air ducts etc)
  • Create layout of various systems(equipment, piping, ducts, steel structure including supporting concept)
  • Prepare, update and check planning documents (e.g layout plans, load table, EoD)
  • Ensures that scope of work complies with internal Company work instructions, Company standards, Process Engineering requirements, applicable codes (e.g. EN or ASME) as well as contract requirements
  • Contact the project team at meetings with third parties in all planning issues
  • Ensures the exchange of all necessary layout information with third parties (customers, consortium partners and suppliers)
  • Participate technical clarification meetings with project team and project management
  • Create maintenance concept and present it to Customer
  • Coordinate the interfaces between components, pipes and construction
  • Check and implement installation and component drawings of external and internal suppliers
  • Compliance with contractual and regulatory provisions on placement, accessibility, and load
  • Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
Qualifications
  • Very good user knowledge of engineering tools: Aveva E3D/PDMS, MS Office, Navisworks Simulate or Manage, AutoCad
  • 5+ years of experience in plant / layout design of plants (EfW, WtX/PtX,RG, power plants, oil & gas, industrial) or equivalent regarding structural and mechanical designs, piping routing and equipment/systems arrangement
  • Fluent in English(written and spoken), German or French are a plus
  • Bachelor Mechanical Engineering or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (or similar)
  • Autonomous, solution-driven, and persuading personality
  • Very good communication and excellent technical coordination skills
  • Very good reporting skills
  • Ability to function and communicate effectively across cultures
  • High quality & safety understanding
  • Good effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Representative of layout planning to third parties
  • Conscious on cost reduction
