Senior Consultant as Business Analyst Utilities (all genders)

WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

• IT projects: As a link between the specialist departments and the implementing IT, you lead and accompany IT projects of high complexity and take care of requirements and stakeholder management.
• Advise and design: Conceptual consulting and the design of demanding IT architectures to support operational business processes are part of your responsibilities.
• Analyze and design: Take care of the analysis and design of complex operational applications.
• Test solutions: Conduct feasibility studies and system selection decisions.
• Promote knowledge exchange: Planning, conceptualizing, and implementing customer workshops is just as much part of your tasks as coaching in the field of software engineering.
• Presales support: To promote our sales and business development, you support acquisition and presales activities. You actively work on building a network with the customer and are able to generate leads.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Solid knowledge: In addition to a completed degree in business administration with a minor in computer science, (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification, one thing counts above all: the focus on the essentials and the passion for digital transformation processes as well as the desire to immerse yourself in new topics and discover new technologies, tools, etc.
• Consulting experience: At least five years of consulting experience in the utilities sector with corresponding IT know-how – especially in the conception and practical implementation of modern and flexible IT architectures and frameworks, as well as proven knowledge of common tools and methods in software engineering, including development environments, testing tools, CASE tools, UML, RUP, Scrum, and V-Model. Ideally with a focus on the telecom, energy, or media industries.
• Method knowledge: You have knowledge of methods in agile requirements engineering, agile quality assurance, and cross-technology agile development methods. Methodical and practical experience in business analysis, process analysis and modeling, requirements engineering, and design specification is expected.
• Soft skills: You score with great persuasiveness as well as your open, communicative, and helpful nature, your creativity, and analytical-conceptual skills.
• Certificates: You have relevant certifications (e.g., IIBA, IREB, OCEB). You have already successfully completed or are willing to complete certification as a Certified Project Manager (IPMA® Level C), PMP, or Hermes Advanced.
• Flexibility: You are willing to be on-site with the customer and enjoy working in agile teams.
• Language skills: Very good German and good English skills.
