YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Leading the "CBTC Development" department as part of Stadler Signalling's development with currently 23 employees. Your responsibilities include:
- Development of safety-critical vehicle and track software for our CBTC system NOVA Pro according to the specifications EN 50126, 50128 / 50716 and 50129.
- Development of vehicle software for automated, driverless operation.
- Verification / review of development results
- Integration of information and cyber security requirements
- Definition of the generic system with necessary interfaces, e.g. for integration on a vehicle
- Support for assessments and country-specific approvals
- Support of sales projects, analysis of customer requirements
You are part of expert groups and participate in strategic decisions. Together with product management and sales, you help shape the growth and internationalization strategy.
You organize your department, plan the work, assign tasks to your employees, and monitor progress.
You represent your department in management meetings.
You represent Stadler Signalling towards assessors, approval authorities, customers, and within the Stadler Group.
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical education ETH / TU / FH or equivalent
- Experience regarding functional safety and/or software testing
- Knowledge of railway standards (e.g. EN 50126, 50128, 50129 or 50716, TS 50701, ISO 27001, ISO 9001) and/or train control technologies is an advantage
- German and English
- You are an open, communicative, resilient, goal-oriented personality who is open to new things.
- High motivation to familiarize yourself with new technologies, development processes, and tools
