Integrated Psychiatry Winterthur – Zurich Unterland (ipw) advises and supports people in crisis situations and with mental illnesses. As a psychiatric and psychotherapeutic competence center for the regions of Winterthur and Zurich Unterland, ipw cares for people with diverse clinical pictures and in all phases of illness at 13 locations. ipw is particularly characterized by individual treatment methods and offers tailored to the individual person. Furthermore, ipw is a recognized educational institution for doctors, nursing professionals, and other health and therapy professions. It offers training places for various basic training programs and serves as a teaching hospital for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zurich. ipw is a legally independent organization of the Canton of Zurich.

Your Responsibility

In close collaboration with the executive management and the hospital board, you shape the corporate and business strategy of ipw – always taking into account current health policy developments and regulatory requirements. You are responsible for implementing strategies and concepts as well as preparing, implementing, and adhering to the budget. You promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your strategic and entrepreneurial actions contribute significantly to the sustainable medical and economic success of the organization as well as to positioning ipw as an attractive employer. As an initiator, you actively drive topics such as innovation, cooperation, digitalization, and sustainable development – always in dialogue and with active involvement of your employees. You act as a reliable, binding, and cooperative contact person towards internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

You have a university degree in business administration and several years of leadership experience at the executive management level – preferably in psychiatry or the somatic hospital sector. You are well acquainted with the political, social, and economic framework conditions of the healthcare system. You have actively shaped corporate developments and are motivated to sustainably influence strategic and operational processes. You find an environment with scope for design stimulating – you use this with foresight and implementation strength. Your pronounced strategic, operational, and communication skills enable you to recognize changes as opportunities and to drive them forward with positive energy. Even in complex or challenging situations, you act with negotiation skills, confidence, and the necessary tact. Your cooperative, goal-oriented leadership style and your high social competence create trust and closeness – both with the interprofessional teams within the organization and with external stakeholders.
