The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. Its geriatrics and rehabilitation service offers its services on 3 sites, namely:
- The Riviera Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinic in Vevey (Providence site)
- The Chablais Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinic in Monthey
- The Rennaz site.
The CGRs have the mission of mainly geriatric rehabilitation, as well as acute care for seniors. At Rennaz, these are hospital Geriatrics consultations (CGH).
A close collaboration with the HRC allows our patients to benefit from its technical platform and state-of-the-art equipment.
Under the supervision of a medical-nursing duo, you will work in close partnership with the patient and their relatives, while emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration.
The main tasks of this position are
- Ensure the quality and continuity of nursing care
- Organize, plan, and document nursing care services
- Collaborate in the smooth running of the service's activities
- Promote the interdisciplinary approach to care and teamwork specific to the service's mission
- Promote the involvement of the patient in their care plan as well as that of their relatives
- Participate in the supervision and evaluation of students and interns
We require
- A Bachelor HES or equivalent nurse diploma
- A motivated person to care for seniors according to best practices in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and Palliative Care
- A rigorous, dynamic person with excellent communication skills
- A sense of responsibility, organization, and planning
- An interest in working in an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt to change and commitment to the service's project
- Proficiency in French and hospital-specific IT tools
- Two years of experience in care would be an asset
