About the job
In this role, you take on the technical-practical part of the polymechanic vocational training within a job-sharing model. Your focus is on the basic training of apprentices in the 1st and 2nd year of apprenticeship as well as on the technical support in the following years with a focus on the specialization "Manufacturing parts with CNC machines".
You work closely with a second function that takes over the administrative and organizational tasks of vocational training – your focus remains clearly on practical training.
Your area of responsibility
- Conveying the practical basic training in polymechanics EFZ according to the curriculum
- Technical supervision and guidance of apprentices in the mechanical training workshop
- Building solid foundations in manual manufacturing, machine operation, quality, and occupational safety
- Participation in the further development of technical training content and learning modules
- Supporting apprentices in the transition from basic training to productive assignments in production
- Participation in apprentice projects as well as selected productive work in the training workshop
Your profile
We deliberately also address younger polymechanics who enjoy passing on their expertise and gradually developing in vocational training.
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ
- Ideally several years of professional experience after apprenticeship (approx. 3–5 years – flexibility available)
- Very good knowledge of CNC programming (preferably Heidenhain iTNC 530/620).
- Solid experience in the CAM area (preferably CAM-Esprit), as well as application experience in CAD and ERP systems.
- Enjoyment of practical work as well as guiding and supporting young people
- Patience, sense of responsibility, and a structured way of working
- Motivation to actively shape technical vocational training
