You will manage the Green Spaces section and its activities (planning/development, maintenance, cemetery) in terms of personnel, scheduling, and proper completion of work. You will oversee the development and maintenance of the city's green spaces according to the principles of sustainability and adaptation to the effects of climate change, in accordance with the Municipal Climate Plan and the Swiss VILLEVERTE label. You will carry out landscape development projects. Finally, you will participate in the analysis of external developments in files submitted for inquiry and their compliance with the municipal zoning plan.
Required qualifications:
You hold a degree as a HES landscape architect, landscape architect with federal diploma, environmental engineer, biologist, or equivalent. Additional training in sustainable urban planning and land use planning is a plus.
Professional experience and skills:
You have proven professional experience in the development and maintenance of green spaces according to the principles of sustainability and adaptation to climate change. Understanding the implications of urban infrastructure on the growth and management of plants, you are able to propose solutions to reconcile urban development and green space preservation.
You also have solid experience in team management and are capable of managing and motivating your team.

Proactive within a team and accustomed to working transversally, you know how to actively collaborate with your colleagues and superiors while being autonomous. You also know how to adapt to your different interlocutors and are comfortable facing any audience.
You demonstrate natural interpersonal skills and authority, allowing you to build trusting relationships with your colleagues and partners while ensuring effective management of your team. Your kindness and sense of listening facilitate exchanges, contributing to a collaborative and harmonious work environment.
