What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded IoT systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria
- Analyse system requirements and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on embedded platforms
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues, reporting defects with detailed documentation
- Set up and maintain test environments, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation setups
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies for embedded/IoT products
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and technical expertise
- Participate in code reviews, risk assessments, and release planning to ensure product quality
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in QA/testing for embedded systems or IoT devices
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and IoT architectures
- Proficiency in test automation for embedded platforms (e.g., Pytest)
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), simulation, and real device testing
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, BLE, LoRa, MQTT)
- Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies (Agile, CI/CD)
- Experience with test management tools, defect tracking, and version control (e.g., Jira, Git)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
