Specialist Infection Prevention Expert

• Early detection, assessment, and monitoring of nosocomial infections and multi-resistant pathogens
• Deriving, creating, and updating hospital-wide hygiene and prevention guidelines
• Training, advising, and coaching employees of all professional groups
• Planning and conducting internal audits, monitoring processes, and creating hygiene reports
• Hospital hygiene consulting in all areas (e.g., OR, endoscopy, sterilization, outpatient clinics, AEMP)
• Participation in renovations and new constructions, vaccination campaigns, and management of events and epidemics
• Active participation in commissions (hygiene, occupational safety, disposal) and coordination with external institutions
• Close exchange with the chief infectious disease physician and situational collaboration with public health services, associations, vocational schools, research institutions, and international organizations

Become part of the Clinic for Internal Medicine with training status A, which, with over 2,500 inpatient patients, over 6,000 emergency cases, and more than 450 patients cared for annually in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, is a central and important service center of the hospital. Our interdisciplinary wards with the specialties of acute geriatrics, internal medicine, and surgery are managed in a skill-grade mix.

This is how you convince us:

• Completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH including several years of professional experience in an acute hospital
• Training as a specialist infection prevention expert with a federal diploma or willingness to complete it
• Knowledge in communication and advisory activities
• Basic knowledge of technical systems as well as project and process management
• Willingness to take on a role model function
