The University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) offer observation internships for 1st and 2nd year students following the school curriculum at ECG who wish to orient themselves towards healthcare professions.

Job Description

These observation internships are granted by the institution for students from our external partners. They are organized according to the planning of available places in the various departments and care units.

These internships give students the opportunity to discover health-related professions and to follow a professional team in their daily activities within a care unit. 

Qualifications

You are currently a student in training and/or are following the motivational semester at one of our external partners and/or professional transition centers. 

You have good knowledge of spoken and written French.

You are a motivated, curious, and attentive person. You have a positive attitude and respect working hours.

Additional Information

The duration of the internship is 5 working days at 100%.
The observation internships will take place: 

November 2025: 

• from Monday, November 3 to Friday, November 7, 2025
• from Monday, November 10 to Friday, November 14, 2025
• from Monday, November 17 to Friday, November 21, 2025

December 2025

• from Monday, December 1 to Friday, December 5, 2025
• from Monday, December 8 to Friday, December 12, 2025

January 2026 

• from Monday, January 12 to Friday, January 16, 2026
• from Monday, January 19 to Friday, January 23, 2026
• from Monday, January 26 to Friday, January 30, 2026
