Tasks

Develop sustainable packaging concepts from idea to implementation.
Validate and introduce new packaging materials meeting all requirements.
Lead packaging projects in collaboration with various departments.

Skills

Degree in packaging technology or related fields preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in packaging development required.
Strong knowledge of food safety and legal regulations essential.

What you do with us

Development of sustainable packaging concepts from idea to implementation (including recyclability and CO₂ optimization)
Validation and introduction of new packaging materials considering legal, technical and economic requirements
Creation, maintenance and further development of packaging specifications
Execution of machine trials, stability and transport tests
Management and coordination of packaging projects in cooperation with internal departments
Technical support for print data checks, supplier audits and tenders
Participation in international working groups on packaging topics

When you fit with us

Completed studies in packaging technology preferred or studies in mechanical engineering, materials science or food technology related to packaging technology
At least 5 years of experience in packaging development, ideally in the food industry with project management advantage
Sound knowledge of packaging material quality, food safety and current legal requirements
Structured working method, networked thinking and high personal responsibility
Native German speaker and strong communication skills in English (at least level B1)
SAP and MS Teams knowledge as well as basic CAD skills
