Director of the Caritas Grocery Cooperative 80 – 100 %

Work location: Sempach Station | From January 1, 2026, or to be agreed

The Caritas Groceries provide people affected by poverty in Switzerland with solidary access to fresh food and a variety of everyday products at very low prices. In collaboration with partner suppliers, foundations, and regional Caritas organizations, we operate 22 stores across the country. For the management of the Caritas Grocery Cooperative, we are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial spirit and great empathy, with a long-term vision.

Your missions

In this role, you will take on the overall responsibility for strategy, finances, and development. You will lead a motivated team of 13 people, develop innovative ideas, and provide impulses for an effective and efficient organization. Retail is your passion.

You know the mechanisms, you have experience in management, and you possess a keen sense of social issues. You are fluent in German and French. As an agile leader with a strong collaborative spirit, you establish solid networks and promote the creation of new partnerships.
