full professor or associate professor in French Medieval Literature.

Description
This full-time position includes 6 hours of weekly teaching at the bachelor, master, and postgraduate levels as well as supervision of master's theses and doctoral dissertations. The candidate will be expected to develop research at the national and international levels in their area of specialization and secure external funding. They will also be required to take on management and organizational tasks within the Department of Medieval French and Latin Languages and Literatures as well as the Faculty.
Requirements
Recognized specialist in French Medieval Literature (11th-15th century) with a focus on literary theory or a comparative practice of medieval corpora. An interest in research areas studying minorities (Gender Studies, Queer Studies, Animal Studies, etc.) would also be welcome.

- PhD in Literature or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in research leadership and teaching.
- Publication of monographs and articles in international journals.
- The language of instruction is French, and knowledge of German/Italian/English is desirable.
