Area Developer
The Real Estate Office is the owner representative for the cantonal real estate portfolio. The Area & District Planning unit in portfolio management is responsible for unlocking development potentials and thus creating long-term options for action.

Your tasks
- You develop strategies and concepts for the development of cantonal areas and districts, take over process responsibility for their implementation, and participate in evaluation committees for potential studies, test planning, etc.
- You represent cantonal interests internally as well as towards third parties; your field of activity includes existing properties with potential for enhancement and/or consolidation.
- You handle planning law measures in the tension field of the real estate industry, politics, and administration, together with an interdisciplinary team.
- You are responsible for real estate development in cooperation with the portfolio managers responsible for infrastructural user needs; for this, you lead external service providers.
- You develop processes and instruments, contribute to the further development of the Area & District Planning unit and to the knowledge management of portfolio management.
Your profile
- You have a university degree in spatial planning, architecture, or real estate.
- You bring several years of experience in project or area development, ideally in the public-law sector.
- You enjoy challenging, long-term tasks and have pronounced conceptual, analytical-structuring skills.
- You are a communicative personality with convincing presentation skills and want to help shape and further develop portfolio management.
