About the job
Your contribution to a modern financial industry:
- Strategic Consulting: You support our clients with questions in risk management, treasury, and controlling – from risk identification through measurement and modeling to effective control. In doing so, you become an important contact person for risk-related issues and actively shape the risk management of our clients.
- Data-driven analyses and modeling: You design and create analyses and models on various risk topics – e.g., ESG risks, RWA drivers, credit portfolio risks, or interest rate and liquidity risks as well as scenario analyses – and translate complex risk and control issues into transparent decision-making bases for management.
- Responsibility and project work: You actively work in interdisciplinary project teams and take responsibility for your own work packages. In close cooperation with experienced colleagues and our clients, you drive projects forward and develop future-proof solutions.
- Result preparation and presentation: You make complex content understandable, prepare your results appropriately for the target audience, and present them to our international clients from the financial industry.
- Knowledge building and transfer: You continuously build your expertise in the banking and risk management environment, develop innovative solution approaches within the team, and contribute to studies, professional articles, and internal publications.
Your skills:
- Successful university degree (mathematics, natural sciences, e.g., physics, or economics, e.g., economics, business administration, or business informatics).
- Confident handling of consulting tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with programming and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, VBA)
- Enjoyment of analytical activities as well as translating your results in a structured way into concrete recommendations for management.
- Understanding and interest in the financial industry as well as current challenges in banking (e.g., AI and digitization) and regulatory know-how.
