Head Global Digital Business
The Head Global Digital Business plays a key role in shaping and accelerating Geistlich Pharma's global digital business strategy. This position is responsible for driving digital growth initiatives, building scalable digital capabilities, and translating business objectives into impactful digital solutions across marketing, sales, and customer engagement. You will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to unlock new digital revenue streams, optimize digital customer journeys, and foster a strong digital mindset across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the global digital business strategy in alignment with corporate and commercial objectives
- Identify, develop, and scale digital business models, platforms, and revenue-generating initiatives
- Lead global digital transformation initiatives across marketing, sales, CRM, e-commerce, and customer engagement
- Own the digital roadmap and portfolio, including prioritization, business cases, and performance tracking
- Translate business needs into digital solutions in close collaboration with IT, Marketing, Sales, and external partners
- Establish governance, frameworks, and best practices for digital products, platforms, and services
- Drive innovation through market scanning, pilots, and partnerships with digital solution providers and startups
- Track and optimize digital KPIs such as digital revenue, adoption, conversion, customer experience, and ROI
- Build and lead cross-functional project teams and virtual communities around digital initiatives
- Act as key sparring partner for senior leadership on digital strategy, opportunities, and transformation topics
- Support affiliates and business units in implementing and scaling digital solutions locally
- Foster a digital mindset and capabilities through enablement, training, and change management initiatives
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration, Digital Business, Marketing, Information Systems or similar
- Experience in MedTech and/or dental industry
- More than 8 years of experience in digital business, digital transformation, or commercial digital roles in a regulated or B2B environment are required
- Proven track record in building and scaling digital products, platforms, or business models
- Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, CRM, marketing automation, data-driven business models, and e-commerce
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex global stakeholder environments
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluent in English and German (other languages are a plus)
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior management
- Willingness to travel (20%)
