The Building Appeals Court at Sihlstrasse 38 in Zurich 8001 primarily adjudicates appeals in the areas of planning, construction, and environmental protection law as a first-instance cantonal specialized administrative court. It consists of part-time professional judges (architects, engineers, etc.) and the court registry (court clerks, administrative secretaries, and other administrative staff).
To complement our team, we are looking for an administrative secretary starting December 1, 2025, or by agreement.
Your tasks
The scope of duties includes the administrative processing and support of appeal cases, in particular:
• physical and electronic mail receipt and dispatch
• creating physical and electronic files
• conscientious updating of these files including data maintenance
• formatting of procedural orders
• monitoring deadlines and file availability
• organizing site inspections and meetings in coordination with various parties
• managing the telephone switchboard
• issuing certificates of legal force
Your profile
• completed commercial training
• very good German language skills, spoken and written
• affinity for digital applications and good knowledge of M365 software
• quick comprehension
• careful, efficient, and conscientious working style
• ability to work in a team
• court experience or authority work is an advantage
