About the job
As part of the pooling of skills in fire prevention for the municipalities of Vionnaz, Vouvry, Port-Valais, and St-Gingolph, the Association of Municipalities of Haut-Lac is offering the following position:
- Main mission:
- Analyze files and ensure compliance with the authorities' requirements in the field of fire protection and AEAI, especially during building or operating permits, habitation permits, events, and periodic inspections
- Profile sought:
- Hold a certificate as a Fire Safety Officer AEAI
- Possession of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) from a building trade or technical training related to construction is an asset
- Know the administrative and legal processes related to the position
- Have experience in administrative management and good writing skills
- Master common computer tools. Knowledge of professional software (eConstruction, etc.) is an asset
- Be organized, rigorous, and responsible
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be autonomous in managing assigned tasks and know how to prioritize
- Have good interpersonal skills with the public
- Be flexible with working hours and able to handle unforeseen events. The holder may occasionally be required to conduct inspections in the evening or on weekends
- Commit to continuing education
- Being a firefighter, having such experience, or committing to joining the CSIHL is an asset
- Hold a category B driving license

- Salary: According to the ACHL salary scale
