Project Manager Contaminated Sites and Soils (M/F)
ERM Swiss GmbH is looking for a Project Manager Contaminated Sites and Soils to join its LPMR (Liability Portfolio Management & Remediation) team in Central Europe, as a Management Consultant. Your main role will be project management, aimed at strengthening our client relationships. The position is ideally based in our offices in Sierre or Lausanne.

Location: Sierre or Lausanne Type of position: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of complex environmental consulting projects, including site assessments and remediation.
- Ensure high-quality project delivery, compliant with technical, legal, and commercial requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate fieldwork, ensuring all operations are conducted according to Swiss regulatory standards.
- Be the primary client contact for projects related to the manufacturing, oil and gas sectors, as well as the public sector.
- Work closely with a national team based in Lausanne, Sierre, and Zurich, fostering communication and coordination.
- Ensure knowledge transfer and continuity of activities during a planned sabbatical leave for team management.
Your Profile:
- Extensive experience in managing environmental consulting projects, particularly in remediation and site assessments.
- Proven fieldwork experience.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss environmental legislation.
- Fluent in French and English; German is an asset.
- Experience working with clients in the manufacturing, oil and gas sectors, or the public sector.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and client management skills.
- Experience with public sector tenders or commercial proposal writing.
- Experience in mentoring or team leadership.
- Proficiency in GIS, data management tools, or digital project tracking platforms.
