To strengthen our team at Arxada in Visp, Switzerland we are looking for an Electrician/Automation Technician: from August 2026.

As an Electrician / Automation Technician EFZ you are part of a dedicated team responsible for the reliable technical operation of our state-of-the-art production facilities. In this role, you directly contribute to operational safety, plant availability, and process stability – thereby supporting Arxada's sustainable growth. You work closely with various departments, take responsibility in demanding technical projects, and actively contribute to a strong safety culture.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Professional commissioning of EMR installations in new construction and renovation projects as well as expansions and maintenance
Maintenance and troubleshooting of technically sophisticated production facilities
Ensuring efficient, safe, and quality-oriented operations
Coordination and alignment of workflow with internal clients
Participation in interdisciplinary project and optimization teams

Qualifications and experience:

Completed training as an Electrician EFZ or Automation Technician EFZ
High standards for safety, quality, and careful work
Ideally experience with Office applications and SAP
Teamwork skills, service orientation, and enjoyment of a versatile technical role
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
