Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting and responsible position, you develop standards, take care of their implementation during renovations and new constructions, and support network operations during disturbances. You actively shape the future of electricity supply and ensure the highest quality and safety in complex infrastructure projects.
This is how you ensure electricity in Switzerland
- Planning, design, and implementation of automation solutions for substations (AIS/GIS)
- Accompanying projects with IEC 61850-based protection and control technology systems. From tendering through engineering and commissioning to SAT
- Implementation of cybersecurity measures throughout the entire system lifecycle
- Investigating and evaluating new technologies in the field of switchgear automation (SAS)
- Support in fault finding and analysis
- Creating standards for the Swissgrid substation of tomorrow
- Work location: in Landquart or Aarau
This is how you make a difference
For this position, we are looking for you as a team player with a reliable, independent, and quality-conscious working style. You bring the following:
- Completed engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) or comparable technical education
- Excellent expertise and experience in the field of substation automation
- Good conceptual skills and ability to reconcile different interests of various parties
- Several years of experience with control technology topics (e.g., IEC 60870 and 61850 are familiar to you)
- Good knowledge in parameterization and fault analysis of IEDs, RTUs, SCADA is an advantage
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
