About the job
Within the socio-educational framework, we care for and accompany multiply disabled children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders in the Nathalie Foundation boarding school through their daily lives across four residential groups.
We are looking for a night watch immediately or by arrangement for the boarding school in Gümligen, 4 to 5 nights per month (including weekends).
Tasks:
- Responsibility for the care, supervision, and monitoring of 15 children and adolescents together with another night watch between 8:40 p.m. and 7:40 a.m.
- Maintaining the children's records
- Cooperative collaboration with the day team
- Handling the home laundry as well as additional household tasks
- Participation in regular night watch meetings
Our requirements for you:
- SRK training or willingness to complete it
- You are accustomed to taking responsibility
- You are reliable, patient, resilient, and remain capable of acting in challenging situations
- You possess social skills, are proactive and flexible
- You are familiar with working with disabled children and adolescents
- Experience in the educational or nursing field is an advantage
