History Teacher
Graubünden Cantonal School / 40 - 60% | Chur
The Graubünden Cantonal School is an important educational institution with about 1000 students of all three cantonal languages. As a section of the Office of Upper Secondary Education, it offers upper secondary school training cycles at the high school with long and short programs as well as at the specialized school, commercial school, and computer science school. As a history teacher, you teach students at the high school, specialized schools, commercial schools, and computer science schools.
For our school, we are looking for a history teacher starting August 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teaching history at the high school as well as at specialized schools, commercial schools, and computer science schools
- Organizing and conducting project weeks, class events, and excursions in a team with other teachers
- Taking on various tasks within the team of teachers of the same subject
- Collaborating on development projects for the entire school
What we expect from you
- University degree in history as well as a teaching diploma for maturity schools (diploma for higher education teaching)
- Experience teaching at the upper secondary level and qualification in an additional subject are an advantage
- You are a flexible person, proactive, able to work in a team, and enjoy working with young people. We are also looking for a communicative person who takes responsibility and is happy to engage in school life
- Knowledge of other cantonal languages completes your profile as a teacher at the trilingual school
