What would production be without the right tools at the crucial moment? This is exactly where you come in. You ensure that tools, spare parts, and test equipment are available, technically optimally coordinated, and economically procured.
With your sense for quality, efficiency, and process reliability, you actively contribute to the performance of our manufacturing. If you want to take responsibility and play a key role between technology, purchasing, and production, this position offers a task where your contribution visibly makes an impact.
Your areas of responsibility include:
Ensuring the availability of tools, test, and measuring equipment at all times for smooth production
Timely procurement of spare parts and operating materials
Organization, provision, and return of tools and gauges for production
Monitoring, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the tool assortment
Clarification of requirements and purchasing of tools including technical clarification for new productions
Conducting supplier negotiations as well as operational order processing for operational maintenance
Technical advice and support of production in selecting suitable machining tools
Responsibility for test and measuring equipment management in IQS as well as tool management in the GTMS system
To be successful in this position, you have the following qualifications and skills:
Basic knowledge of polymechanics and machining technology
Very good knowledge of tools for turning, milling, and grinding machines
Experience in the maintenance of test and measuring equipment as well as in the procurement of technical instruments
Proven Microsoft Office skills and experience with ERP systems
Structured, forward-looking working style with pronounced organizational skills
Versatile, proactive, and responsible personality
Strong communication and negotiation skills
