Tasks
Your basic training lasts two years; during this time you receive full salary. In the first year, you learn everything essential for your new profession at the Zurich Police School ZHPS. In the second year, you work at the airport police and already take on security-relevant tasks. After two years, you take the professional exam for the federal specialist certificate "Police Officer"; if you successfully overcome this hurdle, you will be solemnly sworn in and admitted to our police corps.
Requirements
- Swiss citizenship
- Compulsory schooling according to the respective cantonal guidelines
- Recognized professional qualification (EFZ), equivalent training or Matura
- Impeccable reputation
- Age: At the time of application, at least 20 and at most 39 years old (up to the 40th birthday)
- Minimum height: none
- Visual acuity: unrestricted field of vision, color perception ability
- Driver's license: Category B
- Military/Civil protection/Civil service/Unfitness for service
