- The SFFN acts in favor of sustainable management of natural areas. It is responsible for the coordinated application of legislation on wildlife, forests, and nature, the management of renewable natural resources, public information, and support to authorities on topics under its responsibility.
- You support the cantonal forest engineer in preparing and monitoring program agreements in the forest sector. You participate in implementing the cantonal climate plan measures related to wood resource exploitation and forest management. You contribute to drafting the forest management plan. Finally, you participate in the service's reflections aimed at adapting forest management to climate change.
- You have experience in a public or private institution active in the relevant fields and have completed a degree as an ETH forest engineer or a master's in environmental sciences. You are capable of leading multidisciplinary projects, working in a team, and collaborating with specialists. Rigorous, organized, and pragmatic, you are able to successfully complete projects within deadlines. Your understanding of the administrative and technical context of the State, municipalities, and associations allows you to be a reference for the service in your area of expertise. Your analytical mind, initiative, and interpersonal, communication, and adaptability skills enrich your way of working and strengthen your impact within the team.
