About the job

The Fairmont Monte Carlo is a luxury hotel located in the heart of the Principality of Monaco. It features 596 rooms, suites, and residences as well as four restaurants, three bars, a Fitness Center, a Spa, two swimming pools, Room Service, and a Catering service.

• Welcome guests according to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards
• Ensure that assigned tables are set according to defined standards
• Know our products including menu, daily specials, daily wines…
• Respect service sequences without forgetting precedence
• Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
• Use suggestive selling techniques and highlight products indicated by the Maître d’Hôtel in charge
• Take orders
• Carve meat and fish if necessary, serve wine in the absence of the sommelier
• Clear tables and tidy the room, sort laundry and take it down to the laundry room

• Ideally three years of experience
• French, English, and Italian languages desired
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to focus attention on customer needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
