About the job

At the Municipal School for Children and Adolescents with Autism, Physical and Multiple Disabilities (Maurer School), around 90 children and adolescents are taught. The school has a well-developed support, therapy, and care program.

Your Tasks

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a social pedagogue starting August 1, 2026. Your work assignments are spread over 39 school weeks and some school holiday weeks. You will be responsible for:

Accompanying and caring for adolescents during school lessons in the middle school, upper school, or 15plus, as well as during non-teaching times and holidays
Planning, conducting, and evaluating teaching units and measures (with a focus on social skills and practicing everyday situations)
Documenting developmental progress in social pedagogical issues
Supporting and promoting adolescents in practical life areas
Participating in the educational and nursing care of the students
Collaborating in specialist groups and at school events, participating in interdisciplinary meetings and further training

Your Profile

Degree in Social Pedagogy HF/FH
Further training in vocational education/practical training desired
Experience working with children and adolescents with physical and multiple disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorder is desirable
High flexibility and resilience
Interest and enjoyment in interdisciplinary collaboration
