About the job
The cantonal police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. Our vehicle workshop in Urdorf is responsible for maintenance/repair work, 24-hour on-call service, and police-specific equipment of service vehicles as well as trailers. Tasks
- Performing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on emergency vehicles of the Zurich Cantonal Police
- Assisting with the procurement and management of spare parts
- Supporting special operations (e.g., driving courses)
- Providing on-call service
- Contributing to the training and supervision of apprentices
Profile
- Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician EFZ
- Additional training as an automotive diagnostician is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in the field desired
- Brand knowledge of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and/or VW is an advantage
- Good IT user skills (Word, Excel)
- Reliable, precise working style as well as high resilience
- Flexibility, enthusiasm, teamwork skills, and discretion
- Driver's license category B (A and C desired)
- Impeccable reputation
