Welcome to the Interlaken East Primary School!
At our school location, about 150 children from kindergarten to 6th grade are taught by a motivated and committed teaching team.
From August 1, 2025, we are looking for a new colleague as the class teacher of a 1st grade. Team applications are also warmly welcome.

Tasks
We are looking for you as a substitute part-time teacher in kindergarten.
The workload consists of 2 mornings (9.2L) teaching as a part-time teacher. Optionally, 4L IF can additionally be taken on. The lessons take place from Monday to Wednesday morning.
From February 1, 2026, the lessons (with or without IF) can be regularly taken over (limited until summer 2026, subsequent continuation desired).
Requirements
Teaching qualification for primary level or in training for it.
Knowledge of the contents, requirements, and goals of Curriculum 21 from your training or further education or the willingness to acquire them.
Positive attitude towards integrative teaching methods and heterogeneous, multicultural class compositions.
Willingness to collaborate within the school, class, and grade team as well as with special education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.

We offer you a position at a modern school in the center of Interlaken starting immediately, by arrangement, or at the latest from 01.02.2026.
The school building is very well accessible by public transport, and sufficient parking spaces are also available directly at the school.
We are an upbeat, humorous, versatile, proactive, and supportive team that likes to launch joint projects. In the school building, we have everything needed for good teaching: modern infrastructure (projector, visualizer, group rooms, sufficient workspaces for individual work), specialized rooms, 1:1 device equipment for students, and own devices for teachers. We have a school council. A school social worker and a team of special education teachers also belong to our school and work with you in the class.
The permanent continuation of the employment from the 2026/2027 school year is possible.
