To complete its teams, the City of Prilly is looking for a Child Educator – APEMS de Jolimont - 75% who will be responsible for working within the APEMS de Jolimont, attached to the Childhood service, which welcomes children from 1P to 3P.

Main duties of the position:

• Ensure the care of a group of children in accordance with the educational guidelines
• Offer children varied activities adapted to their needs
• Maintain regular contact with parents
• Collaborate proactively with the team and management
• Work in a spirit of collegiality
• Participate in the development of the educational project and apply the various procedures required by cantonal directives
• Implement decisions made during meetings and by management

Desired profile:

• Hold a diploma as a Child Educator or equivalent qualification
• Person with professional experience in the field of childhood
• Organizational skills and creative spirit
• Sense of responsibility,
• Ability to carry out relevant, effective actions independently and with commitment
• Spirit of collaboration and integration
• Real ability to work in a team and adapt; your interpersonal skills as well as your professional conscience make you a true asset to the team
• Perfect command of French
• Clean standard and special criminal records

Special provisions:

• Since the APEMS is closed during school holidays, the working hours are annualized
• The activity rate of the position is spread over 5 days
