Electrician, Maintenance Specialist
Workplace: Nant de Drance Plant, Le Châtelard-Village, municipality of Finhaut (VS)
Your mission:
As an electrician, maintenance specialist, you contribute to the availability, reliability, and safety of the mechanical equipment at the Nant de Drance power plant.
Your responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance work as well as work related to the rehabilitation and renewal of installations
- Actively participate in interventions on hydroelectric groups, including disassembly, reassembly, and mechanical and electrical testing
- Propose technical improvements and participate in the implementation of improvement projects
- Collaborate with mechanical, operations, and engineering teams to optimize the availability and reliability of equipment
- Perform initial checks in accordance with the OIBT
- Ensure monitoring and operation of installations as an operator according to the established schedule
- Eventually, provide an on-call intervention service (about 6 weeks per year)
Your skills:
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician installer, assembly electrician, mechanic-electrician, or automation technician.
- Experience in troubleshooting high-power electrical and/or mechanical machines (alternators, motors, etc.) is an asset
- Sense of responsibility
- Enjoy working in a team and being mobile
- Ability to manage workload fluctuations
