The District Court Dietikon is a court of first instance for civil and criminal matters with around 45 employees.
An auditorship at the District Court Dietikon enables persons with a completed law degree to enter the legal profession. The auditorship lasts a net year (14 months) and is fully credited for the internship required to obtain the lawyer's license.

Your area of responsibility
As an auditor, you will gain insight into all areas of activity and legal fields of our district court due to our system. You support the court clerk responsible for you and work with all nine of our judges. Your tasks include preparing and attending hearings (including judgment consultations), taking minutes, case management, partly independent case processing, and drafting decisions. This gives you an in-depth insight into civil and criminal procedural law, civil law (including family, labor, and tenancy proceedings, claims), criminal law, as well as debt enforcement and bankruptcy law.

- Legal capacity (certificate of legal capacity)
Applications are also accepted before the official graduation ceremony, provided that the application includes an early certificate of study completion and a transcript of records (with marking of the subjects counted and weighted for the master's degree as well as a handwritten supplemented grade point average), showing that all required examination subjects and the master's thesis have been completed.
