We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Application Manager to manage our company's investment in SAP application suite and support our finance strategy. Part of our global Business Applications team, this role bridges business and IT, ensuring alignment between corporate goals and system solutions.
Please note: depending on the location of the candidate, we are open to filling this position on our locations in Italy (Riese/Cusano), Slovenia (Grosuplje), Germany (Mühldorf), UK (Shipley, West Sussex) or Switzerland (Zug).
How you will contribute
The Application Manager SAP FI/CO will serve as a business manager, encompassing responsibilities such as understanding corporate and departmental strategies and processes, developing IT plans aligned with those strategies, assisting business stakeholders understanding how IT can support their initiatives, strategic project planning, and implementation business requirements into integrated IT system solutions. This role involves overseeing and managing finance-related projects and supporting the integrated architecture design across all systems to ensure the company's finance strategy is effectively delivered. Additionally, the Application Manager will manage internal customer support, ensuring issues are resolved to customer satisfaction and that SLA requirements are met. They will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of service delivery processes and for developing plans and action items aimed at enhancing the customer experience.
This position in the part of the project organization at SteelcoBelimed Finance / IT with the follow tasks:
Responsibility for project management of SAP initiatives including confirming alignment with corporate strategy and IT Plan, managing overall projects, planning, prioritizing, coordinating and reporting against project milestones activities.
Overseeing day-to-day SAP support process and activities, including ticket system, prioritization, communication and resolution and coordinates related escalation processes.
Responsibility for the development of the SAP Application (customizing).
Working with IT Change Board to manage the change requests and deployment processes.
What you will need

Graduate or an equivalent level of education
Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing SAP FI/CO Application is a requirement
Strong Project Management; Project Delivery or ITIL certification is a plus
Business process experience in industrial manufacturing and logistics; experience with programming is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are a requirement
Ability to work independently and to take ownership of assigned areas of responsibility, as well as the ability to work in a team
Strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong process orientation
Willingness to travel ~10-20% of time
