Program Collaborator, 50%
The Healthy Aging project developed within the framework of EPER's Age and Migration Program aims to strengthen the health skills of seniors from migration backgrounds with low literacy. To do this, an offer composed of information sessions and activities focused on physical and mental well-being is proposed in collaboration with actors in the field of health promotion and prevention in Vaud.
At the same time, awareness-raising work with professionals related to the challenges of aging in the migrant population and their specific needs has been carried out to contribute to a better understanding of this audience and to address its specificities.
The Swiss Protestant Aid (EPER) is looking for, immediately or by agreement, for its Healthy Aging project, a·n
Operational management of the Healthy Aging project
- Organize and supervise information sessions and activities focused on health promotion and prevention for the senior migrant public
- Develop collaborations with specialists in the field of health promotion and prevention
- Manage the smooth running of the project (monitoring, reporting)
- Ensure financial follow-up
Support the manager in the development of the Health Unit within the Age and Migration program and in the preparation of educational materials on the topic
- Higher education focused on social and/or migration issues
- Continuing education in health promotion and community prevention is an asset
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of the Vaud socio-health network
- Skills and experience in project management
- Very good analytical, synthesis, and writing skills
- Animation and communication skills in an intercultural context
- Active listening and kindness
- Mastery of a foreign language is an asset
- Flexibility in working hours and travel
