About the job

Uttwil is a rural and attractive community on the beautiful Lake Constance with around 1,904 inhabitants. Our long-standing employee is retiring after many years of service. Therefore, we are looking for a qualified and physically resilient professional as of April 1, 2026, or by agreement

Your area of responsibility

Maintenance and upkeep work on public roads, paths, squares, facilities, streams, and shore areas
Disposal and cleaning service
Winter service
Weibel services (municipal assemblies and meter readings)
Assistance with funerals, sewage canal cleaning, water supply (hydrants)
Deputizing for the depot manager during vacation absences
General tasks

Your skills

Completed vocational training as a facility maintenance specialist EFZ or a craft apprenticeship
Driver's license category B
Willingness to work irregular shifts (winter service as well as Saturday and Sunday deployments)
Resilient, flexible, and a team player
Independent, reliable, efficient, and conscientious working style
Customer- and service-oriented actions, forward-thinking
Good physical constitution and health
Confident command of German in spoken and written form
