The Public Prosecutor's Office See / Oberland in Uster conducts criminal investigations against adults in the districts of Hinwil, Meilen, Pfäffikon, and Uster.
As of June 1 or by agreement, we are looking for a Senior Public Prosecutor (80-100%) due to the retirement of the previous position holder.
These are your tasks:
- Leadership and organization of the office with around 50 employees as well as promotion and evaluation of 8 direct subordinates
- Ensuring an optimal age structure of the cases as well as guaranteeing a balanced case load through managed allocation to the departments
- Exercising the competence for objections and appeals, monitoring key cases, and supporting case handlers in complex criminal investigations
- Active interface between the office and the management of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office through participation in cross-office projects as well as mediation and implementation of strategic initiatives in the office

- Several years of successful experience in the field of criminal prosecution as well as qualified knowledge in criminal and criminal procedural law
- Proven leadership experience and enjoyment of both personnel and organizational tasks
- Confident appearance, high resilience, and assertiveness
