Skills

You need a tertiary nursing qualification with experience and training in activation.
Compassionate interaction with elderly and disabled individuals.
Proficient in MS Office; leadership experience is a plus.

Around 120 employees and more than 500 volunteers help in emergency situations, engage in further education, health promotion, and integration of the population in the Basel region. We are currently looking for January 2026 or by arrangement:
Dipl. Nurse HF as Deputy Head of Daycare / 60-80 %
Your area of responsibility
- You support the guests in everyday activities during their stay (care and support).

You participate in daily planning including activation.
You maintain the care documentation.
You support the head of the daycare and take over the professional and personnel management of the team (7 employees) as well as guest planning during her absence.

- You advise guests and their relatives. Your profile

You have a basic nursing education at tertiary level (HF, FH) with several years of professional experience as well as further training in activation.
You enjoy working with elderly people and people with various

impairments (dementia, MS, Parkinson's, CVI, etc.) and approach them with empathy and patience.

You are a proficient MS Office user and open to learning new systems.
Ideally, you have leadership experience.
