For the Central Strategic Purchasing department at the headquarters in Pfäffikon/SZ, we are looking for a dynamic, efficient, and highly committed personality:
YOUR TASKS
Responsibility for the strategic planning, development, and management of the assigned product groups – especially populated printed circuit boards (PCBA), cable assemblies, electrical components, and connection technology for the entire Condair Group
Analysis, optimization, and further development of the international supply chain considering market, cost, and technology trends
Building, qualifying, and developing new suppliers as well as continuing existing partnerships according to the global product group strategy
Independent execution of global sourcing projects including supplier audits, contract and price negotiations, as well as supplier evaluation and supplier management
Responsibility for systematic risk management, including deriving and implementing appropriate measures to reduce risks
Close, cross-location collaboration with development, engineering, quality, logistics, and other departments
Active participation in new product introduction projects (NPI) as well as in change and variant management
Ensuring correct and up-to-date procurement master data in the SAP system
Supporting operational purchasing in bottleneck situations and supply risks
WHAT YOU BRING
- Completed technical studies (e.g., electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics) or comparable qualification
- Additional training, e.g., certified purchaser, federal specialist certificate, or commercial training is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in technical, strategic purchasing, ideally in the area of PCBA and electronic assemblies
- High technical understanding, structured and proactive working style as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Team-oriented personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality and high personal responsibility
- Very good communication and negotiation skills in German and English
- Solid knowledge of SAP R/3, MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%)
