Specialist: Electrical Systems 80–100%

Are you well versed in complex electrical systems and experienced with network and BUS systems? Are you a communicative, solution-oriented personality who convinces with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness? Would you like to contribute to well-functioning public transport with your competence and experience? Then you are in your element with us.

These are your tasks

• You are involved in new constructions and renovations of low-voltage systems.
• You take care of the low-voltage and communication systems and ensure seamless system documentation.
• You independently plan and carry out maintenance work, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate involved external companies.
• You perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and quality controls and provide professional support to other departments within SZU.
• You troubleshoot system faults and ensure their availability.

These are your key competencies

• You have completed vocational training as an electrical installer EFZ or automation technician EFZ.
• You already have the operating electrician permit according to Art.13 NIV or are willing to take the exam.
• Ideally, you have already worked in the railway sector and have proven knowledge in configuring network and BUS systems (KNX, DALI).
• You cope well with irregular working hours and are willing to work at night or on weekends and take on on-call duty.
• You have good hearing and vision as well as a healthy constitution.
• You have good PC skills, very good German language skills, and hold a category B driving license.
