We are filling this position due to a succession arrangement, as the current position holder will take over the management of emergency care on January 1, 2026.
The emergency center is responsible for the medical emergency care of over 35,000 emergency patients annually, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Our emergency department includes 14 monitoring places and a shock room with 2 places as well as an integrated emergency practice with 4 treatment rooms.
- Supporting the head of emergency care in personnel, organizational, professional, and administrative areas (around 45 employees)
- Supporting personnel recruitment and onboarding of new employees together with the head of emergency care
- Ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-oriented operation in cooperation with the head of emergency care
- Monitoring the economical use of resources
- Occasional creation of the duty roster in the personnel deployment system (PEP)
- Active interprofessional collaboration
- Active participation in nursing in all 3 shifts
- have completed a postgraduate degree in emergency care
- have already gained initial leadership experience
- have professional experience in the emergency department of an acute hospital in Switzerland
- are open and motivated for new challenges
- maintain a respectful, appreciative, and motivating approach with patients, relatives, and the team
- are an independent, resilient, responsible, and service-oriented personality
- communicate openly and appropriately for the audience
