Wädenswil is an attractive city on the left shore of Lake Zurich with about 25,600 inhabitants. Around 350 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population daily.

The Social Services department belongs to the Social Affairs division and is responsible for advising and supporting people with social and/or financial problems in the areas of social assistance and adult protection.

For the Social Work Social Services team, we are looking for a

(Work focus Intake, prospect of deputy team leader Social Work)

Your areas of responsibility include

• Case intake and clarification of formal and material responsibility
• Eligibility check and granting of economic assistance according to SHG as well as application to the social authority
• Clarification of the subsidiarity of economic assistance, assertion of social insurance claims and other benefits against third parties
• Comprehensive case management in the area of economic and personal assistance
• Administrative tasks
• Organizational and personnel management of the Social Work team (14 people) in the absence of the team leader
• Professional support of the Social Work team in the absence of the team leader
• Support of the team leader with other tasks

What you bring

• A tertiary level education, preferably in Social Work, Social Insurance, or Law
