Job Description
With your talent, you provide our guests with a wonderful stay. From the warm welcome at the reservation, through the friendly smile at check-in, to serving cool drinks at our bar. You can expect a varied activity, always with a focus on: the professional care of our guests. You take care of:
- Attending to our guests both by phone and at check-in/check-out
- Organizational and administrative tasks in both the front and back office areas (e.g., managing no-shows, answering emails)
- Checking and processing reservations, overbookings, and options
- Invoicing including managing cost assumptions as well as cash management and accounting
- Serving our guests at the bar and preparing as well as actively selling our Motel One Lounge offerings
- Cross-departmental insights into new areas of activity through collaboration in our multicultural teams
Qualifications
Whether as a hotel professional or career changer – you fit with us! Because personality and hosting qualities come first with us! In addition, you are characterized by:
- Training in hotel management or interest in a career change
- Ideally some professional experience in the hotel/restaurant industry, e.g., at reception/front office or at the bar
- Enjoyment of a varied range of tasks in a family-like team
- High quality awareness and service orientation as well as hosting qualities and passion for the hotel industry
- Open, communicative demeanor and good command of German & English
- Team spirit and willingness to support across departments – we achieve our successes together
