The French Section of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lausanne is advertising a position for an assistant professor in French and Francophone literature.
Additional Information
Start date: August 1, 2026
Contract duration: two years, renewable once for 2 years.
As currently planned in the academic schedule, this position is not intended to be permanent.
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Your Activities
Teaching load of four hours per week (Bachelor or Master level seminars).
Supervision of students, handling of exams.
Individual research.
Participation in research activities and administration of the Section.
Your Profile
PhD in literature or equivalent degree (thesis must be submitted by the start date), with at least a partial specialization in 17th and 18th century French literature.
Candidates must be able to teach French and Francophone literatures at both Bachelor and Master levels.
